Jiu Jitsu
Brazilian Juijitsu, also referred to as BJJ for short, is a martial art combat sport and a self-defense system that focuses on grappling, and more specially ground fighting, primarily characterized by its ground fighting skills and joint locks. The BJJ classes promote the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique. The classes focus on building on personal goals, using individual strengths and abilities, while increasing self-esteem and capacities.
